Simon gained a First Class degree in Philosophy before studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the mid 1980s. He set up a clinic in Exeter where he still works with his wife. He learnt to read medical Chinese at an early stage and having access to Chinese books and journals has been an important influence on his work. As well as greatly enjoying practicing he also teaches Herbal Medicine.

After graduating in 2001 with a degree in Philosophy, John fell in love with Exmoor and the North Devon coast. He found true inspiration in the benefit of physical therapy to counter the effects of being a keen surfer and musician. Qualification and practice in both holistic and sports massage therapy only fuelled his ambition, leading him to return to study in 2011 and gain a degree in physiotherapy. John has now settled in the area with his wife and loves surfing, photography, tennis and music.

Charlotte Parker BA (Hons), Reiki Level 2
Charlotte completed a BA (hons) Creative Expressive Therapies in 2003, specialising in Dance therapy. She has always enjoyed jobs that involve helping others, most recently working as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In 2007 she qualified as a Reiki Practitioner and loves the positive effect it has on her and the people she treats. Charlottes parents established the Rose and Crown Clinic when she was a child and is happy to return to the clinic to work. She has three children and enjoys getting out for walks on Exmoor and the local beaches.

Julie was introduced to homeopathy 25 years ago and her interest in it grew until it became a way of life for her and her family. Having graduated from the Contempoary College of Homeopathy, she is a fully registered member of the Society of Homeopaths. Julie recognises the need for a system of natural health care to help people cope with the stresses and strains of modern-day living and enthusiastically encourages people to adopt a positive approach to their own health and wellbeing.
